Pros and cons of WSJ Brief: Business & Finance app for iPhone and iPad

WSJ Brief: Business & Finance app good for

I have had the app for a while now and I absolutely adore it as it keeps me up to date with the main financial news and anything of note happening in the City and not exclusively. The app is updated during the day with tidbits of timely financial information which make all the difference. Well done, WSJ!
Great app. It delivers great news and keeps you informed about worldwide important events.
A free app, and as of now, no stories behind a paywall. A good overview of UK financial news.

Some bad moments

Pretty much the same setup as Whats News The intro screen takes far too long to enter the main app. Also I dont appreciate how they have taken over the @WSJVintage Twitter account, why not just make a new feed?
Was pleased that the WSJ is keen to follow City of London more closely. Alas, this app is nothing but a ruse, go ahead and try to click into a story, you will run right into the paywall. Wake up WSJ! Nobody is going to pay for yet another scrolling news service, even if its slightly better, when all this can be had for free elsewhere. Bye bye city app.
This is a beautiful application, sophisticated & artful, easy on the eyes, inviting to read & use. The best Ive seen anywhere.
Even if youre stateside, this is still relevant. Incorporates all WSJ articles. Especially like the alerts
